Coloured Moon

Just playing with my new 30D
100mm APO atf/9 Canon 30D ISO200 single frame in RAW, Processed in CS5 i7 64 bit RGB curves,re sample highlights,very mild highlight sharpening.Saved as 16b .tiff
I just wanted to show the slight mineral colour.

Fabulous pic. You write 100mm. Is that a 100mm lens at f9?If so my E500 with its 150mm lens goes in the bin (that's 150mm native, 300 equivalent 35mm). Or is it the scope at 100mm object size with an Aperture of f9?

ooh, good, relief! I am looking at getting a 500mm mirror lens for my cam and piggybacking on scope for dso until I can get a dedicated astro cam which will require a eq mount.
