Class 1 ST8XMEwith CFW10

I'm looking to get out of mono imaging and want to explore one shot colour imaging further.

I have for sale a class 1 ST8XME with a CFW10 filter wheel loaded with some LRGB and Ha Filters. I dont know the age of the ST8, however it does have the remote guide head port so I guess that dates it to around 2006 or later. The ST8XME is a great camera and if you are into mono/narrow band imaging is a terrific option. Some great images have been taken with this camera - see previous postings here and on Astromart.

As a rough guide to price, similar class 1 cameras/filter wheel combos go for around US$3000-$3500 on astromart, my price is AU$2800.

Thanks for looking

Hi Lars,
How old is the camera? What price are you looking for?
Thanks

St8xme

I dont know the age of the ST8, however it does have the remote guide head port so I guess that dates it to around 2006 or later.

I would actually not prefer to sell it but to do a swap with the camera options listed in the first posting. As a rough guide to price, similar class 1 cameras/filter wheel combos go for around $3000-$3500 on astromart. I will obviously sell it if the right offer comes along, but I dont want to be without a camera for too long.

The ST8XME is a great camera and if you are into mono/narrow band imaging is a terrific option. However, I've been imaging with a ST4000 lately and decided that it better suits my imaging goals.

Hope this helps
