Sun Activity March 11

Hi All,
Have not had much luck with my night time images due to a technical glitch, so I turned my focus to the sun.
Attached is an image of a nice active area on March 11, 2010.

Taken though a Lunt LS60THa using the DMK 41 mono and a barlow.

Regards
Bill D

Thanks.
It was nice to see so much detail in the one zone.
I would have liked to frame it a little bit better, but I was focused on getting the surface features to fit in frame. The proms were a little bigger than I thought.
I will have to look into trying a panorama next time.

Hi Bill, That's a nice shot. Can you tell me is that a 2x Barlow? I have a LS60 and was thinking of getting a DMK 41 mono, along with a 2x Barlow bui I'm just wondering if you can image the whole Sun with the Barlow and the DMK41.
Cheers
Bob
