these were 120 second runs at 5fps in raw mode for the toucam. Seeing was very nice.
For my limited experience, i rated it 8 or 9/10, Bird, how would you have gauged it???
ice, rocket and asimov also have copies of the cd's so I can't wait for their processing efforts.
I had to share the great seeing conditions.
As bird mentioned to me via pm, the collimation and focus could do with a touch up. I am waiting on baree's impression of the orions hand held focusser, and it it works well, i will make one or buy one.

The features on the disk were very steady, so the seeing might possibly have been up around 8/10 or better. However there might also have been some jetstream or upper-air turbulence that results in a slightly fuzzy image, so that would detract from the seeing a bit.

This is the first time I've had anything to do with raw frames..could be interesting.
it has been converted back to colour frames, so you should be fine. you have the red / green / blue there to process individually if you want and then combine in astral image if need be
Hey DP, great image. I'm just back from a couple days travelling. Just PM'd you my postal address.... looking forward to seeing how much damage I can do with this little gem of an avi
