Baader solar screen?
Which camera?
Which scope?
Looks like you tried to use wavelets to compensate for lack of focus.
Better focus will go a long way to improving your results.
Good starting point....

Yes, solar filter over 12in dob, dmk cam.
Couldn't seem to get better focus.
First time I have done the sun.

Mornings usually give steadier conditions.
Focus...practise, practise, practise.
Try the zoom view with the DMK and shield the screen from light and reflections to get maximum contrast.

Definitely focus issue. Perhaps try to focus on a distant terrestrial object with the camera in place. Does the focusor continue to move past focus in both directions? If it stops before you can acheive focus then you will need to sort this issue out.

Thanks guys, the focuser did not bottom out in either direction i just couldnt get it. Thanks guys.
