Drone fly?

I think this is a type of Drone fly (Syrphidae, Eristalinus ...), because of the mottling on the eyes.

Added a third - possibly a garbage fly - Muscidae ...

Appalling table manners.

Looking closely at the wings of the third fly, small serrations can be seen on the leading edges. I suspect that these improve lift at low speed by producing vortices (spinning airflow - reduced pressure) that curl over the upper wing further decreasing pressure.

Any fly experts on the forum.
