Meteor

Just see a huge meteor it glowed bright green/blue to the south of Roma. Seemed to last about 5 seconds. Kind of petered out and then a flash just above my horizon.

Great sighting. And great you can see the sky. Any meteor I saw would have to be below about 500m altitude.

We are celebrating out in Roma 2 weeks without rain and almost as long with no clouds.
And just happened to be out on the verandah with my cuppa with andromeda floating in the top and looked up at the right time.
