Wednesday sun - 6 April 2011

Hi all

Captured some active regions and good filaments this morning before cloud interruptions.

Image 1 - my observatory!
Image 2 - AR 1184 and 83
Image 3 - AR 1185 (far left) and filaments

Lunt 60/Ha SS, 2.5 Powermate, DMK31 (exp 1/19, Gamma 40, Gain 279) and Registax5.

You should get out now (nearly 4pm Adelaide), 3 big proms around the limbs.

I like the way your observatory provides shading. But I thought you would have had some dedicated equipment - chair, stand for laptop, etc.

Thanks gents!

I do really have other stuff but sometimes I just grab what is around! Today it was Flinders' Ikea chairs! Nothing to fancy around here!

Thanks for the updates Matt.Down the coast its been showers all day. Great set up by the way. All that you need and great results. I'll have to post a pic next time the Sun shines.(On Solar scopes seems Daystar have just released updates in time for NEAF Thought it may be of interest)
