Case

Since I bought my GSO RC10 in September I have been looking for a decent case to carry it around safely. Till now I have just been using the cardboard box and foam that it came in. Recently a Masters hardware store opend next to me and i was delighted to discover they had a range of cases and tool chests. One took my eye and that was a Poly tool chest of almost the exact size that I wanted. Extreemly strong, light with good catches and only $198. A quick visit to the foam store and I am now pleased with the final result. At least I know that my scope will be safe when travelling.

All the best

Paul

That's really neat.

Can I ask: Did you get the foam custom cut? And where?

I've got an 8" SCT that I need to do something with. It has a homemade aluminium box it came in but I'm not that happy with it and plan on modifying it otherwise.

I live in Baldivis so the foam was cut to fit by the foam supply place in Dixon Road Rockingham. I'm sure if you look you should find a simular sort of place in an area near you. Once the foam was cut and fitted I then finished it off with a top of Foam Core card which holds everything in place and makes it look a bit more professional.

Good luck

Paul

Hmm, yes, Rockingham is a bit far to go and I'd probably find something closer. Thanks.
