Moon Rise Animation

Seeing how I still had the camera set up on the tripod from the Shuttle / ISS transit, I thought I might get some shots of tonight's Moon Rise.
Canon 550D @ ISO 1600 F5.6
Lens Sigma 70-300mm @ 300mm
51 x 1/15th sec exposures
animated in Jasc Animation Shop

this link is to the new improved animation. It look much better full screen.

That is beautiful. The Moon seems to be pulling the cloud bank up with it until finally breaking free. Just beautiful.

Those clouds look like they're boiling. Very dramatic and could easy have been mistaken for sunrise!

Excellant as usual and very well done jjj!!

Very nice JJJ,
I missed capturing a beautiful full moon rise the other day. I was at work and couldnt set up my camera in time. It had a similar scene as what you had!
Good on you!
