Cactus

I've been keeping a close eye on one of my larger cactus, it had 5 buds on it the other day, only 2 survived and the first is due to open any night now.

I thought I may as well take photos of some of my other specimens while I was outside.

There are more varieties that I'll take snaps of tomorrow.

Great collection jjj. Fingers crossed for the last two flowers. The Stapelia (last photo) has some amazing flowers in the genus.

Amazing looking plants - some of them look like they could have a part in Dr Who. I love the almost translucent green in the first one.
