great shot
should post tech details too for the rest of us to learn from !

Presumably the vignetting is on purpose - it gives a great effect i love it

ND filter used?

any other filters?

great work

thanks. vignetting was applied. i used 2 ND filters and a polarizer filter. using three filter does usually kills the sharpness of photos but some times it work well . i just played around with this one in till i liked it

A few years back, we were in Esperance, and my wife took an image of Hellfire Bay on a hellish day. Boy it really lived up to its name that day! It was done in 35mm, but I'll see if my mother in law will scan it (we had only 2 copies made, and kept none!) so that I can post it later.

The rock formations throughout the whole southwest and south coasts in WA are brilliant for hotography. Great shot, sir.
