Thumbs up Images of the Storm heading over Sydney

Taken with the iPhone on the way home, 4 and 3 image panoramas, stitched using Autostitch and processed using Photoshop.

It was all over very quickly up here on the coast - a bit of a let down.

Hi,

Spectacular. I fancy I see a pair of reaching paws, a big foot, and an angry face above, in the stormfront

Cheers

Detail's nice and sharp for a phone job. Phone cameras are getting good these days.

The storm bank hit us about lunch time. I was watching the weather radar and got called away. By the time I got back the storms were over Sydney and lots of red (heavy rain) in the radar image.

Thanks for posting.

Al.

Hi Mike,

Absolutely fantastic and you had a great view of it all up there at the lookout.

It came and went so quickly!

Thanks for the comments.

The iPhone does an alright job as a camera. The images are usually noisy, but there's plenty of great plugins to deal with the jpeg noise these days.
