Talking The FUN life of a Retiree

The other day, my wife and I went into town and visited a shop.

When we came out, there was this traffic cop writing out a parking ticket.

We went up to him and I said, 'Come on, mate,
how about giving a senior citizen a break?'
He ignored us and continued writing the ticket.
I called him an “a--hole” . He glared at me and started
writing another ticket for having worn-out tires.

So Bev calls him “s--t head”. He finished the
second ticket and put it on the windshield with the first.
Then he started writing more tickets.
This went on for about 20 minutes.
The more we abused him, the more tickets he wrote.

Just then our bus arrived, and we got on and went home.
===

We try to have a little fun each day now that we're retired.

It's important at our age!

It is a kinda funny story Warren - a bit naughty, but funny. After many years of acting responsibly retirees are allowed to act up occasionally .

It is a very funny story if it is a joke but not so funny for the person on the other end is all I mean

Being retirees we try not to take the mickey out of poor unfortunates

Today Elva had to do her driving test (89). She was a bundle of nerves. She went with the testing officer to start the test and they found the stop light burnt out. Instead of cancelling and telling her to re-apply he went with her to a garage where they fixed the light for $2. Then started the test which she passed OK. The RTA testers are not a bad lot at all. He said he would see her again in two years. I would think that most of the testing officers would be ready for the "funny farm" at two years after seeing some of today's drivers.

Yes! Of course!
Don't worry Warren.
Just thought it sounded funnier in first person.

That's what I thought I can laugh at a joke but I can't laugh at people's suffering
