Takahashi refractor FS-102

102mm apochromatic fluorite doublet. A great visual and photographic scope - lightweight and quick to cool down. OTA and optics are in excellent condition. Crisp, contrasty and colour free views across a wide, flat field. Comfortably manages up to 300x for lunar and planetary viewing under good conditions.
Here’s a recent photo taken with this scope: http://www.pbase.com/rigel003/image/131826629/original

Includes the following:
Custom ScopeGuard heavy duty transport case with ethafoam, locking latches and 2 inbuilt corner wheels. (currently US400 + shipping)

114mm Astronomics tube rings (currently US100 + shipping)

Kendrick Solar Filter (currently US75 + shipping)

Variable intensity light box custom made for this scope (brand new)

Acrylic Bahtinov focusing mask

Asking $2300 plus postage for the complete package.

Note: mounting, diagonal and Tak finder in first photo not included. Comes with the original Tak visual back and Tak finder bracket. The finder being sold with the scope is a 50mm Stellarvue right angle, correct view. Bought recently through this forum, good optically but has scratching on the outside, mostly covered by the finder holder (and caused by its adjustment screws), and some dust visible on the reticle which can most likely be cleaned with disassembly.

Oh my, if only we had room for yet another Tak in our house ! Fabulous scope and the scope guard cases are first class. That's a great price too for someone.

This is a great price for a superb scope. The case alone is about $400!
