"Autumn Blush" Memories of Sendai Japan

Taken during the Fall of 2005 in the foothills of Sendai, Japan, during a 5 year residence, working for a local company.

Again, by accident - It needs cropping.

I have many photos of Sendai city and surrounds. I would be happy to make up a display and post here if there is sufficient interest. I am currently trying to track down friends and colleagues in the area.

You may have gathered that I am not able to hold a camera still...

EDIT: I've done some work on it. Is it overdone?

I would love to see that, You need a tripod they are interesting but I find my self wondering what the scene actually looks like.

I like them Very Surealist. I would like to see what some of the area around Sendia looks like in reality if you have any like that.

I do too. Though I'd like to lift the colour and contrast without looking gaudy.

I share your anguish though, having lived in Japan. I was caught out in the Mag 7 Chuetsu earthquake in 2004 and was taken in by a Japanese family. Their grace and generosity was humbling. The Japanese are wonderful people, and it is a beautiful country.

Yep! You can't please all the people all the time, only some, some of the time. Monet with Parkinson's?

My experience too - I heard today that my colleagues are all safe, but some have not been able to contact their families in Sendai.
