Site changed...again

You may have noticed that iceinspace is on www4.iceinspace.com.au now.

We have changed servers again. This should fix all the slowness of late. In the next day, iceinspace will back on www.iceinspace.com.au. So don't bookmark www4, it's just temporary.

Sorry for the inconvenience tonight, but it had to be cut-over at very short notice.

The new server we're using is a dual 2.8GHz xeon with 2GB of ram. Thanks for your patience everyone, let's look forward to fast request times and no further downtime

Great work guys – you system folks kinda remind me of Scotty, lovingly nursing the engines of the Enterprise, with only sub-optimal di-lithium crystals, bits of string and chewing gum.

page keeps refreshing/not completing

Works for me. It is possible that strange things are happening. Sorry but it might be like that for a day until the normal domain points to this server again instead of the www4 domain.

DNS changes are just one of those things that we have to wait for until the new ip address propagates around the internet. ie. Until your ISP knows where the new iceinspace server is.
