Some of those targets are not so easy, Davo!

Some are impossible even from under light polluted skies (i.e., galaxies and planetary).
Saturn & Jupiter are great targets though. The Orion Nebula is bright enough to cut through even fairly severe light pollution. Rigel's worth a shot too from Davo's list. Maybe you can catch the new Moon just after sunset tonight. You have about 45 minutes after sunset before the Moon follows. Just make sure it's AFTER sunset!! Never point the scope anywhere near the Sun!! (unless it's completely below the horizon)
If you want galaxies (apart from ours and the two neighbours LMC & SMC): NGC 253 and NGC 55 are the easiest. But even these need relatively dark skies, where they can be seen even just through your 8x50 finder.
