Stephen,
Maybe I should have been clearer....I'm looking for a supplier...
I'm already familiar with what an Anderson prism does in a Spectroshelioscope.
There does not seem to be anyone who makes and sells them....

Ahhh! That's a different kettle of fish. I suspect there aren't any and they are
all either designed in house (govs/unis etc) for specific projects or amateur
DIY stuff as there would not be much profit selling to the public. I haven't seen
any on the hundreds of astro sites I've been to.
Good luck Ken
Cheers
Stephen

Andy,
tried them, and a few others....no success.
It's such a unique application I think they have to be individually made...

Have you thought about making your own, I've read about success using Norland 61 to cement two diagonal prisms.
I'll try and dig out a reference.

Peter,
I have that reference (among many!).....something like that would be a "plan B" solution.

It looked like the only option when I started looking to do the same.

BTW, I found a new favourite word when looking for them:

spectroheliokinematograph

Maybe these guys would be worth a go?
http://jerryychan.en.made-in-china.c...rtz-Prism.html

I've received mirrors and prisms in the past by contacting manufacturers directly and they ended up sending me a sample, even though their minimum order qty was in the thousands, sometimes the sample did the job

Hmmm
You've been lucker than me. I've sent previous enquiries for prisms (60 degree), gratings and mirrors with no success.

I *ahem* usually forward a letter that details a practical application that may end up leading to thousands of units...

These are probably not of the quality required, but they may be able to get them?

or these:

and for those wondering what a nodding mirror is:
