Orion flip mirror not centered...

Hi all - I recently got an Orion Flip mirror second hand, but It appears to be next to useless, because the view is not centered between the mirror up and mirror down position. I know I can adjust the image height, but there does not appear to be any way to adjust the left-right position.

Is there anyway to re-centre it, or do I just chalk it up to experience?

Edit - this is when using a T-mount adapter on my DLSR...

Which flip mirror? They have different adjustment screws.

I had similar issues with the cheapish one I used to use Tim. I put my illuminated reticle eyepiece in the top, and rotated that so one of the "arms" of the crosshair pointed in the direction of the centre of field. On mine it was 2/3 of the way out from the centre of the reticle, but I could get images into the middle of the narrow field guide camera pretty well most of the time.

This was all part of my initial pre imaging set up on a decent bright star to check it. Be nice to have the proper 845 Meade mirror with adjusting screws, but I couldn't justify that much on a mirror.

Would need to check the manual... I know the Vixen flip mirror has four small grub screws behind the mirror to adjust the tilt - the meade flip has external push'pull screws.
You could use Al's reticle to set up the guide crosswire off centre to compensate.
( I do this on a guider for the specroscope - to give a virtual slit position)

Well, Im not sure exactly what I was doing, but by playing with the tension controls, I was able to get it close enough that I can probably make do - I might even be able to get it perfect, but then again I might completely stuff it up

I found a similar issue Tim with a cheapish flip mirror. I found one of the meade 9mm reticules with the adjustable cross hairs fantastic, rather than trying to adjust it. Eventually I got a Meade flip mirror and it made all the difference

Looks like I might have to pony up for the Meade...
