One Ex Darwinite here, see they have had 339mm since 9.00am yesterday, reckon they are going to get some more as well. Looks like it is going to go Cyclone north of Darwin and return south as a full blown cyclone. Well at least according to the BOM...

Now known as TC Carlos Cat1. I have a lot of mates in Darwin, one works the Emergency services number and he is at present stranded in Brisbane due to Darwin Apt being closed. Apparently his bosses are spewing because he cant get back. I reckon Murphy might have had a finger in the pie.

Looking at the radar, it shows the eye sitting right on top of Darwin and not moving: http://www.weatherzone.com.au/radar.jsp?lt=radar&lc=063
