Thors Helmet

Been a while between shots for me so here is my go at Thors Helmet with 11x10min taken a month ago with the 8" Newt. Finally got around to processing it.

Daniel!
Well done
probably one of my favorite targets
you've captured the faint stuff well and distinguish the red from the rest of the neb which is always hard to do with this faint little guy
well done

I like it Daniel, like it alot, I'm trying to get more data for this as I type, although, I'm not sure I can ever get enough.

Be good to catch up in a few weeks.

Darren

Looking good Daniel.
Could do with some sharpening on the helmet (looks like you used some sort of noise reduction).
Overall pretty good

You got quite a bit of detail there. Nice. The colours are too green though as this object is more bluish and red. Perhaps you can shift them over using curves on the various colours or use the selective colour tool.

Greg.

Thanks Greg and martin,Yeah, I thought the neb may have been a bit too green and the stars maybe also a little too redish, though I did use a UHC-S filter.
I will try and give it a colour tweak.

Cheers Daniel.

Nice detail Daniel, Looks like you may have had a bit of a dew problem with the halos on all the stars.
Maybe a repro might be called for.
