Saturn 23/1/06 rehash

I had another go at that avi and reprocessed it in K3CCDTools and then imported the bmp into registax for waveleting and then in PS for levels and colour adjustment. Don't know if there is that much difference.

The one on the middle one is the original processed one. The one on the right is a wavelet pushed one for a comparison

Very nice ponders..Is that with your 8"??..i see alot of guys using the avi method...what are the advantages of this method as apposed to the dsi stacking method??i have a cheap camera that takes video of the planets...but i never really knoew what the point of it was(till now)

again...very well done mate...me jelous

Yes they are with the 8". I've not tried with the DSI though I did try with the LPI a couple of times. I found I managed much better results using avies than I did stacking with the LPI, though I've seen some great shots here on the site from others using the LPI
