Alert - Major Road closures across Victoria

It beats me why this is so widespread but Vicroads has shut roads all over the place!!!

EVERY road from Melbourne to Adelaide is now closed!

also some main roads around Melbourne, the highways to Mildura etc.

They have closed all the roads in and out of our town again even though we have no more flood.

There are roads closed that weren't even flood affected

ALL THESE CLOSURES ARE EFFECTIVE FROM 11PM TONIGHT (1 hour ago)

Ahhhh, I just found out why.

Six major Rivers across the state are about to burst their banks tonight!

Here we go again. Take care out there if you have to drive anywhere.
I hope no more homes get affected.

Hi Ken I control the road closures out here in far west NSW.
And as you see there is always a reason why.
Public safety comes first.
When I open a road the road has to be driveable to mum in her mini and not to Dad in his 4x4.
