eqmod gamepad help

hi, i have got a logitech wireless keypad to use with eqmod but its not recognised in eqmod. it works fine entering numbers in other applications but as soon as i try to configure in eqmod there is nothing there! im running xp on a netbook and have tried all sorts of things in xp with no luck. is anyone out there using the same pad its a n305???

I use the same logitech numpad with slightly different wireless receiver, yours must be a newer one.
Numpads are different to gamepads and it doesn't work with EQMOD's joystick support.
If you want to use it with EQMOD you need to click on the "PAD" button in 'Slew Controls'.
Leave the mouse cursor in the 'Slew region' and you can start slewing with your numpad or arrow keys on your keyboard.
