UPDATE - can light scratches be removed from a primary mirror by polishing ?

Hi all ,
thanks for the help with my mirror problem , Good news they are going to refund my money, than its off to Bins to buy a skywatcher 8" black diamond OTA, will cost a little more ( no eyepieces included ) but will be a highter quailty scope ( my current scope is 6" skywatcher blue tube).
Again Many thanks
Steve

Hi,

For your own benefit don't give up on Andrews entirely in future. They have good deals and a reasonable history despite your bad experience. Maybe it was one inexperienced person who wasn't being supervised, and thought your scope was a rear vision mirror, who knows

I had a nong serve me at Bintel once, it can happen.

Cheers

Hi again,
I may buy some eyepieces off them later , the ones that came with the scope were very good , i have a televue 20mm and gso 20mm (to me) was almost as good, they gave me a gso 15mm wideview (the 15 was missing when the scope first arrived) , I'm thinking of keeping it and getting them to adjust the refund , i also got a 2.5x barlow and 45* prism off them , havn't used the prism yet but the barlow is far better than the one i got with the skywatcher.
