The Unthinkable

G'Day All,
Well on Sunday I had join the unthinkable club , after using my scope on Saturday night I close the roof but didn't bolt it down.
Went to Newcastle on Sunday only to come home to find we had a storm and our power to the house was down with a big branch laying on it and half of my observatory roof laying ten yards down the paddock and everything inside drench. With the help of Enrique and his son my wife and myself we were able to get the roof back on before the next storm came through. So far everything inside has dried out . The lesson is bolt the bloody roof before you go to bed.

Oh, that's bad luck Ian!

As Henry Ford (or was that Thomas Edison) once said...'I learned how not to do it'.
