Lunar Eclipse Sydney - 21 December 2010

Found this interesting shot amongst my collection from the evening. I'm guessing heat or atmospheric conditions caused this. (See attachment).

Shot with a Canon 7D through a 70-200mm f/2.8 lens.

Thanks Vincent. I've been poking around here for about 1 year, but finally made my first post.

Hoping to get the appropriate gear to mount my camera to my telescope soon, but still a lot of learning to do.
