I bought this and really like it. I'm a bit of a newbie WRT iPad so do wonder if the same capabilities of this are provided as part of other larger astronomy app's, but for what it is I like it.

It's really convenient to just boot it up and a few seconds later know what transits of Io, etc are upcoming in the next few days. It's going to be great to compare against photo's taken too.

Unfortunately, the App doesn't seem to work on an iPod Touch - I bought it hoping it might, but alas.

Quite like this one, very convenient with it's two day time slider.
Only negative is the that the same zoom factor is applied
to both planets, so as you switch planets you usually have to readjust the zoom level.
According to iTunes it requires iPhone 3Gs or later or 3rd generation iPod Touch or later.
