Comeplete Auto Guider set up

I am looking at selling my complete auto guider set up. This includes a
· Saxon ED80 Scope
· Starstuff 3D Guide Scope System
· Losmandy mounting rail for 10" SCT
· Rings
· Phillips ToUcam 840K camera
· Meade 1209 Micro focuser
· Shoestring Astronomy FCUSB

The 3D Guide Scope system is sensational. It was custom designed and built by StarStuff and has absolutely no flexure and very solid. I can always find a guide star with it.
All up this a fantastic auto-guiding system, but unfortunately the design of the SkySed POD observatory that I have prevents me from being able to guide and image at the same time when I am anywhere near zenith. All of these components cost more than $1700.
I am considering selling as a complete system for around $1100 ONO

Thanks
Con...

Hi That_guy,

At this point in time, I am not willing to seperate. If its not sold in a few weeks then I would consider it.

Hi Con,

With this setup you are selling, all I need is good mount and telescope with camera and this has everything to do autoguiding astrophotography ?, would that be correct. Would consider $1000. Would it be OK to ship to Sydney or is it too delicate.

Cheers,
Brett.

Hi Brett,
Yes you are correct in your assumption. For asrophotography, you need a good mount and a resonable telescope and camera.
Assuming you have a resonable mount astrophotography has many perils but the two most important aspects for deep sky imaging areflexure and being able to find a suitable guide star. The guiding systems I have solves both of these problems very well.

I would certainly considered the offer if it is genuine but perhaps we should take it offline. My email address is con@elthamskies.com.au
I still have the original packaging for the ED80 so shipping to Sydney should be OK.

Thanks

Hi Allan,

Thanks for your enquiry about my autoguider system and apologies for the delayed response.
The system sits on top of an existing telescope and the mounting rails are designed for a 10" SCT or Newt etc. If you have an existing SCT or Newt then the autoguider can just be bolted on top very easily.

In terms of price, I would be willing to do it if I exclude the Meade 1209 micro-focuser and FCUSB (which controls the focuser) so for $900 including delivery you would get
·Saxon ED80 Scope
·Starstuff 3D Guide Scope System
·Losmandy mounting rail for 10" SCT
·Rings
·Phillips ToUcam 840K camera

Let me know if this suits

Thanks

Con...
