More cloudy night’s macros!

Hello,

Well the cloudy nights continue to provide me with much needed beauty sleep and have also spawned some more macro activity. Here is the latest batch from our back garden and Mt Coot-tha Botanic Gardens. It was nice to see some Sun today in Brisbane!

Thanks for looking!

Cheers

Dennis

Lovely set Dennis. Esp impressed with the lighting - particularly #2 (wasp with an assassin bug?), and the jumping spider shots. The native bee is very nice, too.

I can only agree with the former comments - great series of shots. Did you use flash and what was the macro lens? Fantastico.

Thanks Troy, I just copied what I saw the BIMBO masters doing!

The corpse looks more like a small cricket? Here is a full res crop to help with the ID.

Cheers

Thanks Adam & Ian, I appreciate your comments.

@Ian – the lens is the Canon 100mm F2.8 (the non-L model) and the macro rig can be seen in this post.

Cheers
