Plug In Problems, Please Help

Hi Guys,

I have a new PC and i'm using both CS3 and CS5 on it and having the same problem in both versions.

The problem i am having is some of my Plug-Ins literally crash both versions instantly. Without saving it simply cancels out of PhotoShop altogether upon selecting the plug in.

I've troubleshooted the problem to no avail, the Plug ins in question are Star rounder and FS astro (Hot Pixel Studio).

I just can't figure out why this is happening, i am running Windows 7 but that's not the problem as these plug ins work fine on my laptop which is also running exactly the same everything

Please help

Kind Regards

Shane

If this helps I use the star rounder under CS3/4/5 on WinXP pro so 32bits. No problem. The other plugin might be the culprit. I also noticed the star rounder won't run on 16bits images. If you get a clean crash I'd start disabling GPU support and any form of display hardware acceleration then test again one plugin at a time.
