a little smile

Just sharing a funny video made during our trip to Apollo Bay last summer. My baby was finally old enough to enjoy the waves.....but it took him a little time to understand the mechanics. Some of my friend called me a "bad mother" for not helping him in his moment of distress!

Classic!

Looks like he had learnt by the end
Bad Mother? No way. Kids need to 'experience' things to understand.

"look out, there's another toy stealing wave coming"

Ahhh . . good fun, and good memories for you and him

That was hilarious, Amalia!
It was nail biting stuff.. just when you think he's saved them all, along comes another, and another and another. But he soon learned in the end not to trust those waves.
Children need to have experiences so they can learn, so I think a lesson learned by oneself is always more valuable. I think it makes you a good mum!
Thanks for sharing that with us.
