Thanks Paul, cannot remember the last time I used my 16" for visual observing, the only eyepiece that gets a regular gig is my 9mm Nagler in a 3x TV Barlow. to align my scope prior to dropping in my imaging setup.

Thanks Matt, Jup has always been pretty dynamic but now with the SEB revival underway things are changing from one rotation to the next.

You get great live views of jup using Live View on the dslr. Big bright and beautiful.

Thanks JJJ, might be worth a try with the DSLR, the active region in the SEB is at approx CMII 290 degrees.
