I scored a GS Dob bonus

As I told you in an earlier thread I ordered my 12" Ltd GS dob from Andrews on Wednesday. Yesterday Lee rang me to tell me they had no stock left, but he did have a Deluxe version with a fan that was damaged by their courier, and asked me if I would I accept that at the same price as the Ltd!
Of course I said yes! I now get the Crayford focuser and BK7 mirror for free!

Nice one Lost, as a few of the fellas have pointed out installing a cheap PC fan is no prob so you should get to eat your cake and have it too...

That's got to be the deal of the year, if only the fan is damaged!

$15-$20 will buy you a new fan from most half decent electronics shops.

Yes, just the fan, and that is not an issue as I have several 80 and 100 mm case and psu fans in my "rescued" collection from repairs that I have done to computers.
