Thes kinds of things may not become so rare, the US economy is shot, along with several other countries, those on the waiting lists may be contacted and find it not convenient at this time.... Oppportunities for those with the cash.

You can only order an AP scope after you have been notified that they are about to commence the production of your telescope. Have you been notified yet?
