My mate and I had totally wild come and film our schools astronomy program on Thursday night. The presenter had never looked through a telescope before and after Adam showed her the moon through the 12" Dob (at 6pm) she was hooked. Our students had a ball. We had two scopes imaging deep sky objects and our c8 webcaming Jupiter with the 12' DOB. All operated by students. It was great. I will post the date when it is to be viewed. A bit cheesy but with the audience aimed at 12 yr olds maybe we will inspire some young astronomers.
Taken on the night. Very rough 6 x 2min 20 sec 47 tuc with Canon 400d. Scope W/O Flt 110. No darks but kids were happy.
