Interstate insects

As part of my two month photography trip across to Western Australia, back through South Australia and into Victoria, I found myself guest in the home of some wonderful Melbourne residents. As I was eyeing off the flower beds in the next door neighbours garden, I was introduced and allowed to stalk their resident multi-legged inhabitants....

Lovely collection there (in your link). The doli (long legged fly) is great. Love the crab spider - great pose.

I know some of the Latin names, but generally I'm happy with just the common names. Easier to remember for me.
