Robin Williams

Kristy gave me a date to remember last night. Thought we were just having a quiet Friday night as usual. Got home from work and she had arranged baby-sitters and tickets to go and see Robin Williams live at Brisbane Entertainment Centre!

Support act was the Umbilical Brothers.

FYI - awesome, hilarious, witty, fast, talented, and a very, very good way to put a smile back on your face

He actually took the mickey out of some of his movies - Bicentennial Man for example.

What a relief, he's ok! When I saw this thread I thought something had happened to him and my heart started racing!
I love Robin Williams (who doesn't?!). I didn't know he was performing here. I once listened to a comedy performance of his and he swore a ton, that naughty boy. Needs a good dose of chilli rubbed in his mouth, he does . Nothing like what I'm used to seeing from him. It was funny though.. Gee I'd like to know what fun he made out of Bicentennial Man .

I have heard he sweats a lot when he is on stage. So much the front row wear rain coats.

And the umbilical bros. they had a childrens tv show for a while. that was a bit whacked out for a kids show.

He is 100 miles and hour, that's for sure. He always has a table on stage and it's covered with water bottles. He constantly paces up and down the stage, very animated, and does sweat a lot. I would too. Not bad at his age, either. Regularly drinks from the water bottles, and quite a few times uses them as part of his gags. I can't say how or in what context here. Quite explicit, but hilarious and effective.
