Widefield shots inclu Iridium

Down the beach this am, to see if I could find the new comet C/2010 V1 at about mag 8-9. Snapped a few shots and happy to have captured an Iridium flare, though didnt see it. Lotsa satellites in that image too.

Spotted Comet Hartley in bins, though getting fainter managed an image. It was lurking in Canis Minor.

Pretty sure I spotted the new comet as a small faint fuzzy, though didnt show up in my images, and the sky was lightening quickly . Not much of a window with the comet, as near Saturn, and rising just prior to dawn.
