New comet C/2010 V1

This comet is rising in the east about 4.30ish, and close to Saturn.

Per Ian musgraves site -

'The Comet, C/2010 V1 (Ikeya-Murakami), is in Virgo. At the moment it appears to be around 2 degrees from Saturn. According to some reports it’s between magnitude 8 and 9, which should be achievable in good binoculars. The best places to see the comet are sadly in the northern hemisphere. In the southern hemisphere it is too close to the horizon and the oncoming dawn to make out. Between the 25th and the 30th the comet is between Venus and Spica.'

Went out for a look about 4am ..... quite difficult as low on eastern horizon above Saturn .... think I saw it as a faint fuzzy making a triangle with Porrima Virgo and Saturn. Sky then lightening quickly.
Also saw Hartley again.

Oh, jeeze Brent, thats the nicest thing anyone has said to me for ages!!
Comethunter, ha, I like it.
I will never be in the league of Rob K and outbackmanyep, but I do l love it, and such a sense of accomplishment when you nail it.
Comets are such amazing bodies, and can be very beautiful.
