Jupiter in reasonable seeing last night

Saw some reasonable seeing last night. I thought I had missed the best of it but was delighted to see it improving until I got clouded out.
Only managed to get the boring side of the planet though, however I seem to have imaged this region a lot this year.

I am trying some new blending techniques too. So the processing is a little different from my normal routine. With the bad seeing I have had to change my thoughts on processing.

Comments welcome.

Excellent especially the 1300 has wider detail view. Great job.

Nice work Paul, looks like it might be the start of a bit of a trend, the charts look promising for the next few days, just need the cloud to cooperate.

Well done
Regards
Trevor

Really nice images Paul. Looks like the jetstream is finally starting to head in the right direction - to somewhere else...

I hope it is like it was in 2007. I got to image it all year long and then the following year I got a good run on the GRS, several times.

Ray it has been a nasty year here in SA for some reason with the seeing as you would well know.

Thanks all for the comments.

Great images Paul second one in particular.
We've had enough winter this year, bring on summer and clear skies.

Nicely captured and processed Paul! What ever you did different seems to make a lovely image.

Another thumbs up from me - we had perhaps one of the best views I've ever had visually of Jupiter last night (not quite as detailed as that image, but not far off) between the rain showers and clouds. Sometimes the seeing is unbelievable for planets in otherwise useless weather conditions.
