Backlit Oriental Lily

Back lit Oriental Lily - G9 in macro mode. Manual settings f/8 (maximum) - no cropping.

It's a beautiful flower up close. Not sure about composition.

The macro mode on the advanced compacts is really very good.

Lovely colour in the photo, a gorgeous flower.

It's a remarkable piece of creation. You have to work hard with the g9 macro. In hindsight I think it was a mistake to use manual mode. Av might have provided more depth of field and improved focus here and there.

What a beautiful composition and what a delightful exposure, yellows are so difficult to expose. You did a fantastic job.
Hope you can sell some prints of this, it's gorgeous.

Hi Luis. Thank you. I agree, this one has more impact than the second. It was difficult to bring out the yellows, but I'm happy with the result.
