Complete Imaging Setup
Right!
The time has come to get rid of all my gear, why you may ask? well, its simple. I cant remember the last time i just looked, the last time i seen the beauty of the night sky through an eyepiece, and its become apparent to me, that astrophotography is really the study and technique of producing good images, and the only thing i can see thats "astro" about astrophotography is the subject matter, and thats it. ie. imagers arent all amateur astronomers, some are imagers, and TBH, i didnt want this, so i am gonna sell my gear, and go back to a big dob. Here is what is on offer.
HEQ6 used twice with DSE Power Supply and hand controller.
QHY8 CCD cased, with all cabling
QHY8 Canon Lens Adaptor (very handy thing to have!)
Orion Starshoot Autoguider & cables (preowned by Martin Pugh!)
Skywatcher ST80 Guidescope
Skywatcher 200mm F5 reflector with crayford, and upgraded 63mm secondary
Orion ED80
Baader MPCC with spacers and rings (complete set)
Meade Eyepiece set (cased)
Illuminated 12mm reticle
Toshiba Core 2Duo 2.1Ghz 2GbDDR Radeon HD2400 160Gb Laptop
Also, is all the releveant accessories for this, dovetails bars, rings, guidescope rings etc. This is the complete set, and no other parts are needed, no adaptors or ring spacers etc, as is so often the case, when people start imaging, the amount of nik naks needed is unbelievable. Now, for the price. The parts as listed, have a RRP of around $7500, i am looking for $5000 for the lot, thats 2.5 grand off the new price, which sounds kinda right to me, at this stage i dont want to split, i would rather move the lot, as i have so many other things to do, but that can be looked at further down the track
all questions by PM only please!
thanks
Duncan
