I have a five year old ACER desktop. I just pulled the 512 MByte memory card and installed two 1 GByte cards. The 512 MByte card was working well.
I don't want to toss it. Can anyone put it to use? Perhaps you have 512M Byte in one slot and a freebie 512 MByte for your second slot to make your memory up to 1 Gbyte would help you?
It is "ACER" branded and says 512MB UNB PC3200 CL3 and is P/N AU512D400C3KTG
(for reference, the 1 GB cards I put in are labelled - "DDR RAM PC-3200 184-Pin 400MHz DIMM" - the number of pins will be the same as the 512 MByte card - don't know about the other information).
