Jupiter 5th Oct. 10'

Hi.

Seeing was frustratingly variable, with low alt. gusty winds & jetstream coming & going, so I'm pretty happy with these considering.

First one is @ F20 with a Europa shadow transit on the go.

Second one @ F30.

One more. A resample on the best AVI from this bunch.

A bit peeved about the seeing, but you can't have it good all the time.

Very nice work there John, like the F20 & F30 images. Reckon the F30 is a beauty, not sure about the resampled version, reckon it loses a bit with respect to the original.

Well done
Regards
Trevor

Thanks Luis.

Thanks Trevor. The resample is from another AVI just before, or after (can't remember which now) the F30 image; mainly as a 'thread fill' plus it's a good indicator of the seeing.

Thanks John.

I like em John, The seeing we have no control over, but it's obvious from the quality of what your producing with the DBK, all of the things you do have control over are working very well indeed.

I especially like the F/30 image; one can see an offshoot of the white ring surrounding the GRS that extends all the way to the East of (left of) Oval BA. Are you planning on using your DMK and Astronomik filters again soon John?

Thanks guys.

Yes Peter. I'll be using the DMK again, but I think I'll only bother in above average seeing.
