Venus

EQ6, SPX350 near F30, Flea3, Astrodon UV, IR742nm, IR1000nm.

Used the wrong FL with this as Venus was too big and took me by suprise but Venus was sinking into trees so I had to make do.

No detail seen as crescent was less than 15pc. First use of Flea3 but time was short with Venus and used 20fps and altered Gain and Exposure. Tried the 1000nm filter but really needed less fps to get any disc and it was too big but ran out of time.

When I started imaging in July first two months had lots of clear nights but Sept and Oct so far have been awful with cloud and rain constantly, I don't know what Spring and Summer should be like but hope it gets better!

Thanks, John.

Not a bad start with the Flea John. You'll probably have to make a daylight run on this target to capture any detail I think.

All the best for more.
