Seeing was a little above average last night when I took this data. Things looked quite stable but when the camera is streaming at 60fps it is easy to be mislead. The ground level seeing was very still, however upper atmosphere was the culprit. At one stage just after I setup the seeing went from what looked around 7/10 to 1/10 with the approach of a cloud bank. It took several minutes for the cloud bank to move onwards and provide me with clear sky again. 15 minutes after the event the seeing stablised again.
There is plenty of faint detail in the image but really good seeing still eludes me. A continuing merger of the white ovals in the NEBn can be seen and this is the subject of some interst to the Jupos team.
On a lighter note - there is a certain irony that nearly every imaging session this year has been centered on this area. Certainly a bizzare twist going on there.
