little mars 7th Jan.

Still possible to get surface details...I could do with some good seeing!!

Not a nice shot but the best I can do under the circumstances.

I just used the 2X barlow no extension tube, resampled in registax 1.5X 300 out of 2000 frames stacked.

Refractor & toucam.

i had a look last night at mars and didn't even bother imaging!!!

You'll never know unless you try. It can look totally worthless thru the eyepiece but more often than not I've been pleasantly suprised when I shoot it anyway & see the final image. I was expecting zero detail too but considering my seeing at the time I'm happy with this.

I reckon Asi's got the right idea, go for it now because it won't be as good as it is right now for almost 2 more years !!!
