Venus, Mars, Saturn, Mercury Conjunction from back in August

Better late than never.. I finished processing these about 5 weeks ago but completely forgot about them with all the job hunting, trip to the US etc.

These were taken on the 7th August at The Entrance, NSW. It was the preparation shoot for the week after, when the Crescent Moon would be joining them.

Taken with the Canon 40D and Sigma 17-70mm lens. The 24-105mm just couldn't fit enough foreground and sky in.

Venus is the bright one, Mars is at top, Saturn to the right, and Mercury is the lowest one.

Thanks for looking.

I like the ones with people fishing in them,Actually I do not think I have seen

too many astro images with people in them,I like that.

Very nice images Mike.

I particularly like the second one.

A bit of cloud makes all the difference in these conjunction shots.

The colours of the sunset are beautiful.

Have fun,
Doug
